“At first I was nervous coming into the competition to go against top university teams that have experienced cheerleaders, but after having our run through of our whole stunt I was reassured that we could compete at a national level. I am extremely proud of our cheer team as it was there first time for most of us even doing cheer let alone performing a fresh routine in front of hundreds of people takes a lot of commitment and courage. We were able to perform the elite stunts with no errors.”
