What is our Sports Ambassador Scheme?
Our Sports Ambassador Scheme provides the opportunity for paid work opportunities or voluntary roles delivering sports coaching, fitness and mentoring sessions across London.
As a Sports Ambassador, you’ll also have access to training and continual professional development opportunities, supporting you to develop skills to further your career aspirations while doing something you love!
Working as a Sports Ambassador alongside your studies is a great way to engage with student services here at LSBU. The aim is to develop you as students to become confident and capable graduates that have real world experience.
Adittionally, you can network with sports professionals and programme managers and represent the university within the local community.
We welcome applications from both students here at LSBU and the wider community. The deadline for applying to be a Sports Ambassador for the 2024/2025 programme is Friday 25th October 2024.

“It allowed me to apply my knowledge in my academics to real life, which was really nice and contributed to my 40 hour placement”.
Gerald Wong (2nd Year, Sport Coaching Science)
“We learnt new skills and good life skills by teaching other ages sports skills. We learnt how to teach young children which we did in the end event, at the start I felt nervous but once it was done I was happy and it wasn’t that hard. It was a really fun experience as I have always loved sports so it was really fun to share my passion with other people”
