We have now come to the end of our Movember fundraising period, and we are incredibly proud of everyone who took part with £2359 so far being raised, with more still coming in! We are incredibly proud of our students here at LSBU and the sports club they represent. So, we wanted to shoutout some stories during their campaign.

A number of our sport club members gathered together on Saturday 18 of November in their ‘Bakerloo Hobble’, setting off from Harrow and Wealdstone station at 10am finishing off their walk at Elephant and Castle that evening at 6pm. And what was the catch, they were dressed as Elephants to make things a bit more interesting. We had a number of other fundraisers in the month of November with the Mens Rugby Club doing a karaoke night at the SU bar; as well as our Netball Club hosting a ‘Battle of the Balls’ here at LSBU Active, with members from all our sports clubs coming down to partake in a mixed netball tournament.

Our top 2 fundraising teams are our Womens Football Club who raised a whopping £1165 with our Mens Rugby Club raising £658.40, and like we said before, money is still coming in!

We want to give a huge thanks to everyone involved including the staff who also raised some money along the way. We are very proud of everyone involved for raising such a large amount for a wonderful charity.
