At LSBU Active, we are incredibly proud to shine a spotlight on one of our own, Kerry, a dedicated staff member at London South Bank University and an active member of our fitness community.

Kerry is taking on an inspiring challenge for the second time as she prepares to participate in the MoonWalk London, 16th/17th May 2026, a 26.2-mile charity walk raising vital funds and awareness for breast cancer.

What makes this achievement even more powerful is Kerry’s personal journey. She is a cancer survivor, and her determination to take part again is nothing short of remarkable.

The MoonWalk is more than just a walk; it’s a celebration of resilience, community, and hope. Kerry embodies all of these values. Her commitment to returning to the event highlights not only her strength but also her desire to give back and support others facing similar battles.

At LSBU Active, we are honoured to support Kerry every step of the way as she trains for and completes the 26.2-mile. Stories like hers remind us why community, health, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

We would love for our community to come together and show its support. If you’re able to, please consider donating to Kerry’s fundraising page and helping her make a meaningful impact:
