2 Gold Medals for LSBU Student over the summer
Jennifer Eduwu, School of Health and Social Care, claims 2 Gold medals over the summer. Including the coveted British U23 title!
This summer, LSBU Active Scholar Jennifer Eduwu took the spotlight at the British Championships, clinching the British U23 100m title with an outstanding performance. In a highly competitive race, she held her nerve and powered through to secure the gold medal, reinforcing her reputation as one of the UK’s most promising sprinters.
This win not only marked a significant milestone in Jennifer’s career but also led to her second selection for the England Senior Athletics Team. Following her success at the British Championships, Jennifer was named to the England senior squad for the second time, where she was part of the 100m relay team at the Manchester International; securing another gold medal as part of the England team. This selection and her success is a reflection of her continued growth as an athlete and her rising potential on the international stage.
