Kacper Ploszaj Gwiazdowski, a first-year Chiropractic student, proudly represented LSBU at the Student National Taekwondo Autumn Championship in Twickenham, where he secured a silver medal in the under-80kg category. Across the three day competition, which began with weigh-ins on Friday 28th, Kacper faced some of the strongest student athletes in the UK. He battled his way to a closely fought final, ultimately earning second place against a current member of the GB squad.

This event marked Kacper’s debut representing LSBU since joining the LSBU Active Scholarship Programme. Throughout the year, he will compete in several national championships as he works towards his goal of being selected for the European University Combat Championships in Warsaw in August 2025. LSBU Active looks forward to supporting Kacper in his upcoming competitions and celebrating his continued success.
